The big day is over, but who says you have to stop surfing about them? I came across this while surfing through SI.com (one of the husband’s main read for the sports) and it has really cool/funny links. This is such a creative wedding invite! (Taken from SI.com)
Wedding invite ideas
The Night at the Old School (The Old School party)
So everyone who received our invites would have known about our theme. And while not everyone dressed for the occasion, there were those who hammed it up with preppy short skirts, their own school badges and nerd glasses! As I wasn't sure how many would dress up, I made sure that the whole vibe suited the night. From table decorations, to door gifts, and even a photocorner, we had fun coming up with ways to make it a fab bash. Of course, it wouldn't have been so successful without the help of my girlfriends (whom i have known since I was 7!)

Enjoy the pictures!
surprise from my twin
My twin gave me the best present sometime last month. I was SO EXCITED! The guys over at polkadot bride gave a supersweet writeup on the invites!
It's over, we're married!

One of the things we put into our gift bags (in the form of brown lunchbags) were name tags that we made from specially selected quotes from movies. I am thrilled that my friends and family had so much fun with them!
Suited up
Should you not get a wedding package from a wedding studio, chances are, the groom-to-be would be tailoring his own suit. These are my current favourite shops (for the service and experience)! They are both run by young able men and their suits are very stylish too!
Clothesmith
48A Boat Quay
This is the place to be to tailor your own suit and shirt. Come with an idea or a page out of a magazine and the owner will be there to give you some advice. It's a little on the expensive side, though. We decided to tailor just one suit instead of two.

2nd floor on top of a shophouse

Swatches that allows one to choose the shirt details. It's aesthetically very pretty!

Barker
#02- 332E Marina Square (Near Coffee Club)
Barker is run by a personal friend of mine, and stocks well-made shirts, suits and pants from Australia. The best thing is, they're very affordable in this economy and run by helpful staff who will give you suggestions on how to dress! We were very pleased because they let my Dad try this pink shirt in his suit and he looked very good in it! They sell dress shoes here too.
